Becoming a Reiki Master
If you dream of becoming a Reiki master, let me give you some information that should help you to understand the journey ahead of you. Most people think that they could never do it because of the time it takes or the dedication required to learn the Reiki symbols and powers associated with them – but these worries are unfounded. You can easily become a Reiki master – there aren’t any restrictions or limitations. You do, however, need to be motivated enough to study it a bit and put it into practice. Let’s go over a few of the levels that you will have to become familiar with.
Level One
This first level really focuses on preparing your body for receiving and accepting the energy that becomes available to you through Reiki. In the very beginning you will also learn how you can attract the energy and receive it so that you can put it to work for your own internal cleaning. Your understanding of the Reiki symbols will start here, and grow as you learn more and more.
You will learn physical and mental acts that will help you to channel the energy during this time. After you have completed Level One training, you will be attuned to using Reiki for your own healing and purposes, as well as know the Reiki symbols that are most powerful and most important for your personal needs. It’s recommended that, after attaining level one attunement, you regularly clean yourself through Reiki sessions.
Level Two
This second level of Reiki training will focus on giving you the ability to use your Reiki powers of healing to help others. While you won’t teach them particularly about Reiki symbols or cleansing, you will be able to heal them directly. This is some of the most important training as it gives you a unique and very critical understanding of Reiki in general. Applying Reiki healing to others is vastly different than applying it to yourself, so you should always strive to master level two Reiki. You will gain the unique ability to train from a distance, as well as hands-on in a physical method.
Level Three – Becoming the Reiki Master
The last attunement available is the third level. You will be able to learn how to pass your Reiki knowledge over to others, as well as gain a fundamental understanding of Reiki at its core. Becoming a master is much more than having just a title – the training you receive is pivotal for anybody who wants to make Reiki a major part of their life. Your understanding of Reiki symbols will escalate and make you a grand master of this cleansing way of life.
You will never lose your Reiki knowledge or title. It is with you for the rest of your life (and beyond.) Learning the Reiki symbols are just the beginning, and I urge you to begin your Reiki training. The journey to becoming a Master is fun, exciting, and life-changing. Good luck!
